RAGAN FINISHES 4th IN LEGENDS MILLION AT CMS
David Ragan had a rare weekend off from racing in the NASCAR Sprint
Cup Series, but that didn't keep him away from the track. David
competed in the Legends Million Dollar race at Charlotte Motor
Speedway on Saturday night and finished fourth after starting second
in the main event.
David's racing roots trace back to the Legends Car Series and when
the chance to compete in the one-of-a-kind race came up, David was
one of the first drivers to throw his hat into the racing ring.
"This race is something that had never been done in really any type
of short-track racing series, and it's a good opportunity for young
guys and girls that are trying to get to the next level of racing to
be seen," said David. "I'm glad this race was during one of our off
weekends so I could participate."
David was sponsored for the race by UPS Ready Technology Provider,
Oz Development, Inc., whose UPS Worldship tool, OzLINK, is a high
performance way to rate, ship and track with UPS.
David will make an appearance on Race Hub on Monday night to talk
about the Legends race and the solid 12th-place finish the UPS team
had in Chicagoland. Race Hub airs at 7 pm Eastern Time on SPEED
Channel.
This weekend, it's back to NASCAR racing as the UPS team heads to
Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Brickyard 400.
